Giveaway weekend!

Well thank you so much for your sweet comments on the backsplash! I’m so thrilled with how it turned out. I’m taking your advice and not adding beadboard to the appliance garage and the sides of the cabs. Some of you mentioned it’s hard to know when to stop when you’re caught up in it, and you are SO right! Once I stepped away for a while and lived with it, I realized I love it just as it is.

I DID follow one of your suggestions and added a bit more beadboard to the kitchen tonight – and I LURVE it. Can you guess where it is? I don’t know I don’t know!! :) I’ll show you next week – that beadboard is pretty fun stuff.

For now, I have another sahweet giveaway for you lovelies this weekend! Sarah at The Pumpkin Patch makes some really adorable items – for you or your little girl. I love her items because you could totally say you are buying something for your daughter and then wear it yourself.  ;)

I wanted to share a few of my favorites! First, the precious hats – in just about any size!:

OH MY GOODNESS, doesn’t she have the most adorable models you ever did see?!  :) I want to squish them!

All of Sarah’s hats can be made for infants (oh could you just die?), toddlers, children and adults (she’ll just need your measurements).

I love the colors in this one:

Wouldn’t that be fantastic for fall? (Excuse me while I daydream about fall for a minute. OK. Done.)

I have a huge head. (Not like I’m full of myself huge head. A HUGE head, huge head.) So I don’t wear hats like this often, but this one makes me want to try it out – especially at only $15!!

These crocheted roses would look fab on a jacket like Sarah shows, or a purse strap, or on a fall or winter coat:

I love the color options she offers! And the best part – one is only $2.50! YES. You read right. And the set above is only $10 for all seven. Score!!

I love Sarah’s suggestion to clip this to a pillow – how cauuute would that be?!

The alligator clip flowers can go just about anywhere as well – on a hat, purse, or in your hair:

When I see this stuff it makes me especially grateful we had a boy – we’d be BROKE if we had had a girl. Although now we’re broke from buying cute choo choo’s and fire trucks, not cute hats and hair clips.  :)

Sarah also makes fully-lined crocheted bags in various sizes:bag

Personalized blankets (so cute!!):

And baby carriers as well!:
